The Houghton, Ft. Madison and West Point Knights of Columbus are hosting the annual Free Throw Championship at the Holy Trinity Gym in West Point. Registration begins at 2 pm. The competition is open to all area boys and girls ages 9 to 14. Contestants can pre-register and email entry forms to houghtonkofc@hotmail.com.

Addington Place of Mount Pleasant (formally known as Sunnybrook) is hosting its 3rd Annual Soldiers’ Angels Supply Drive for our Troops overseas. We need your help with donations Mount Pleasant! We’ve compiled a list of items and ideas to help us pack up several care packages between January 3rd through the 28th. Support the Mount Pleasant Music Boosters! Join Addington Place of Mount Pleasant (formally Sunnybrook) for their first Lunch For A Cause of 2022 on Wednesday, January 26th, from 11:30 AM to 1 PM. They will be serving a pulled pork sandwich, coleslaw, a bag of chips and a fresh baked cookie via carry out order. The meal will be $7.00 per order and all proceeds earned will benefit the Mt.
