Lee County Conservation is hosting Older, Wiser, Livelier Seniors (OWLS) of our community. Every second Wednesday of the month from 11 am to noon, you’re invited to join them at the Conservation Center to learn about a new conservation topic from their naturalists or a local expert. The second OWLS Program is “Love in the Insect World” with Angella Moorehouse. This a free event with coffee and tea provided. Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Henry County will host a Commercial Ag Weed, Insect, and Plant Disease Pest Control (Categories 1A, 1B, and 1C) Continuing Instruction Course (CIC) for commercial pesticide applicators from 9:00 to 11:30 am. Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be offered at this program. Interested participants should bring their CCA number. Parent & Play Group this afternoon from 2:00pm – 3:00pm for children 0-5 years old  at Winfield City Hall, 115 North Locust Street.
