Last day to call Donnellson City Hall at 319-835-5714 to get your home on the map for the city-wide yard sales on June 15! Maps for the event will be available at Casey’s on Friday, June 14.

Older, Wiser, Livelier Seniors (OWLS) is holding a free event with coffee and tea led by Naturalist Lia on “Poisonous vs Venomous” from 11:00am-12:00pm at the Lee County Conservation Center at 2652 Highway 61 in Montrose. Pre-register for this event by calling 319-463-7673 or emailing us at conservation@leecounty.org.

The Donnellson Library has chicken pot pie at 2pm and a crafternoon at 3:30pm. They will offer more activities everyday at 2pm, reading hour at 10am on Tuesdays, and Toddler Time at 10:00am on Thursdays through the rest of June and the month of July too!

The Children’s Discovery Center at the Mt. Pleasant Public Library is open from 4:00pm – 6:00pm this afternoon!  The Discovery Center is geared toward younger children, but there is something to “discover for all ages!  Look for the Discovery Center sign on the side of the Mt. Pleasant Library and follow the colorful sidewalk!

The Mt. Pleasant Farmers Market is open from 4:00pm – 6:oopm at the Wright Family Pavilion in McMillian Park!  You will find local, fresh produce, baked goods, crafts and more today and every Wednesday afternoon!

Explore the Historic Harlan-Lincoln House at 101 W. Broad Street in Mt. Pleasant.  The museum features memorabilia featuring Senator James Harlan & President Abraham Lincoln.  The Harlan-Lincoln House is open Saturdays and Wednesdays 2:00pm – 4:00pm.
