The Mt. Pleasant Farmer’s Market is open from 4pm – 6pm under the Wright Family Pavilion in McMillian Park!  The market is also open from 8:30am – 11am on Saturday mornings.  The Mt. Pleasant Farmer’s Market features a wide variety of produce, baked goods, and more!

2026 Southeast Iowa Employer Listening Session- You are invited to join this regional discussion focused on the workforce and the challenges that affect local businesses. The session will give employers a direct voice in identifying hiring barriers, skill gaps, and opportunities to strengthen our regional talent pipeline. The discussion brings together leadership from Iowa Workforce Development, the Greater Burlington  Partnership, Southeastern Community College, Lee County Economic Development Group, and the Eastern Iowa Workforce Board.
