The 2022 Lee County Fair officially begins today.  The 4H and FFA Horse Show begins at 9 am in the horse arena at the fairgrounds in Donnellson. The carnival is open from 5 pm to 10 pm. The Lee County Fair Queen crowning will be held at 6 pm in the Show Barn. The Jr. Queen and the Little Miss and Mr. will also be selected. At 6:30 pm it’s motocross in front of the Grandstand.

The Mount Pleasant compost site is open from 1 pm to 6 pm. The site is located behind Saunders Park at the intersection of Hoaglin Drive and Yocum Lane.

The Mount Pleasant Farmers Market will be held from 4 to 6 pm in Wright Pavilion in McMillan Park.

The Grange is hosting the Chamber’s Alive After 5 event for chamber members and their employees.
