The United Church of Crawfordsville Rummage Sale will be held today, Thursday and Friday from 8 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 8 am to noon. A free will donation will be asked for lots of good “stuff.”

The Faith Lutheran Church is serving beef and noodles at the pavilion on the Old Threshers grounds from 10 am to 8 pm.

The Mount Pleasant VFW will be participating in this year’s Old Threshers Harvest Day Parade. The members will carry the colors and will also have a trailer for any veterans to ride on if they would like to participate. Meet Wednesday, 8/31/22 at the Veterans Hall at 2:30 and then move to Sheaffer Park for the start of the parade at 3:30. For more information or questions call 319-217-3079 or 319-931-0093.

The Old Threshers Harvest Parade begins at 3:30 pm. Parade entries will start from Locust Street headed for the intersection with Washington.  The Parade route then goes west on Washington Street to the Mount Pleasant business district.

Join KILJ at 3 pm for the Harvest Parade Preview.  Our live broadcast crew will be on scene as this gigantic parade stages on Locust Street.

The Mount Pleasant Farmers Market will be held from 4 pm to 6 pm in the Orschelan parking lot on North Grand Avenue. Please note this change is in affect until September 10 when the Market returns to McMillan Park after Old Threshers.
