The Henry County Extension Office is closed today, Thursday and Friday.

KILJ is live from the Mount Pleasant Wayland State Bank location from 2 to 4 pm for the annual Pie Deposit.  Bring a pie or any dessert to the bank during that time.  The desserts we collect are for the Mount Pleasant Community Thanksgiving meal on Thanksgiving Day at the First United Methodist Church.

The Mount Pleasant Festival of Lights Drive Thru Holiday Park in the Old Threshers campground officially opens for the holiday season.  Hours are 5:30 to 9 pm each evening now thru December 31. Admission: Family vehicle $10, Limo $25, Mini Coach $30 and Motor Coach $60. Santa will be there November 25, 26 and 27 and again December  2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 and 16th thru 23.
