The Henry County Heritage Trust meets at 10 am at the Henry County Heritage Center Museum, 403  West Madison Street in Mount Pleasant.  The public is invited.

The Mount Pleasant City Compost site is open Wednesdays from 1 pm to 6 pm and on Saturdays from 8 am to 5 pm. The site is located behind Saunders Park at the intersection of Yocum Lane and Hoaglin Drive.
