The Mount Pleasant Public Library Summer Reading program schedule today is for elementary age kids.  They can take part in Wacky Crafty Wednesday at 10 am, 1 pm or 6 pm.  The program includes a story.

Noon today is the deadline to register for the June 10 Diabetes Review Course at HCHC.  This program is open to anyone who has Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes and has completed the 10 hour class.

Relay for Life Team No One Walks Alone is seeking donations for the garage sale coming up this weekend.  If you would like to donate please drop off your items at the Shelter House in the Salem Square Thursday from 1 to 6 pm.

The Mount Pleasant City compost site is open for the season Saturdays from 8 am to 5 pm and Wednesdays from 1 to 6 pm.  The site is located southwest of Saunders Park at the intersection of Yocum Lane and Hoaglin Drive.

The Mount Pleasant Farmers Market is open from 4 to 6 pm in the Wright Pavilion in McMillan Park.

The Houghton Ball Association Wednesday night league plays. Several local businesses and groups have committed to provide food to the teams and community for this year.  Support the Houghton Ball Association!! Stop by and grab a meal and a cold beverage between 5 and 8 pm  and watch some softball!!
