Fire Department Called Out Tuesday Night

The Mount Pleasant Department Fire Department was called out Tuesday night at about 11 pm to 501 E. Warren Street for a garage fire.  Apparently, the homeowner had been burning a stump behind the garage and did not check to make sure it was completely extinguished. Two engines and 12 firefighters were on the scene for about an hour.
