Hazel L. Roath, 97, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022, at Savannah Heights of Mt. Pleasant.
Hazel was born on December 10, 1924, at Battleground, Washington, the daughter of Wallace and Celia Fennimore. In 1940, she was united in marriage to Winton Bush, he preceded her in death. Hazel was a loving, caring lady who always had a positive outlook on life and a smile on her face.
She is survived by her children, Lenore Kennedy of Amboy, Washington, Barbara Hutchinson of North Carolina and Jerry (Connie) Bush of Mt. Pleasant, thirteen grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, a daughter-in-law, a grandson and two sisters.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Grant Cemetery rural Rome, with Pastor Guy Sammons officiating. Friends may call at the Murphy Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant on Friday, April 29, 2022, from 2 until 6. The family will not be present. Memorials may be directed to the Rome Baptist Church or to Grant Cemetery in her memory.
