The Henry County Conservation Department has announced its first annual Art Contest! Paintings, drawings, and 3D art that depict the animals who call the park out at Oakland Mills, home. There are three classes for contestants to register: 10yrs and under, 11yrs-18yrs, and adult. Submissions must be turned into the Henry County Conservation Department Office by Monday, May 4, 2026, by 5:00pm. Judging will take place on Wednesday, May 6 at the HCCD board meeting. The meeting is open to the public (contestants do not need to be present to win). Winners will be announced to the public on Thursday, May 7, 2026.
