Janet Hohl, 81, of River Hills Village in Keokuk, formerly of Donnellson, passed away at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at River Hills Village.
She was born on January 6, 1943, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Alex Edith (Wims) McGregor. On February 12, 1990, she married Ronald Hohl.
She is survived by her husband: Ronald; brother: Bill McGregor of Atkins, Iowa; nieces and nephews: Sarah (Jason) Yanna, Jon (Nicole) Franck and Charles (Shannon) Franck.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Marilyn and Nancy and dog: Fluffy.
Janet was a member of the Argyle Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed sewing, reading books and listening to Christmas music. She was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2025, at Schmitz Funeral Home in Donnellson, with Reverend John Simpson officiating.
Burial will be at Primrose Cemetery in rural Primrose, Iowa.
A memorial has been established in her memory for the Primrose Cemetery.
