Kenia Rueda, 54, of Burlington, died Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City. She was born on July 6, 1967 in Cuba to Fransisco Javier Guerra Amador and Nilda I. Enriquez Anton. On Decembr 20, 1996, she married Eduardo Rueda in West Palm Beach, Florida.
She was a graduate of Twin Lake High School in West Palm Beach, Florida. She was an electrical technician and was of the Catholic faith.
She enjoyed being a mom, taking care of their dog, Blade, enjoyed good food, playing solitaire on her phone, and loved Spanish music and dancing.
Survivors include her husband of West Palm Beach; her mother of Burlington, Iowa; one daughter Saily Rueda of West Palm Beach; one son, Eduardo Javier Rueda of West Palm Beach; one granddaughter Janet Williams Villalon and one on the way; one sister Omara Pico of Missouri. She was preceded in death by her father and her brother Javier Guerra.
According to her wishes her body has been cremated. Elliott Chapel, New London, is assisting the family.
