The Lee County Narcotics Task Force reports the arrest of a Keokuk man on felony drug charges.
Charles Robert Thomas, age 64, of Keokuk is charged with; Delivery of more than 5 grams of methamphetamine (2 counts) , both are class B felonies, Iowa drug tax stamp violation (2 counts), both are class D felonies.
Charles Thomas was arrested by the Keokuk Police Department on an arrest warrant that was issued by the Lee County Narcotics Task Force. The arrest warrant is part of an ongoing investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine in the Lee County area.
The Lee County Narcotics Task Force were assisted by the Keokuk Police Department.
The defendant in this case is presumed innocent until proven guilty. The Lee County Narcotics Task Force is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Justice and the funds administered by the Iowa Governor’s Office of Drug Control Policy.
