Main Street Mount Pleasant Celebrates 20 Years of Leadership from Director Lisa Oetken

Mount Pleasant, Iowa — The heart of downtown Mount Pleasant has thrived for two decades under the steady, enthusiastic leadership of Lisa Oetken, who this year celebrates 20 years as Executive Director of Main Street Mount Pleasant.

Lisa joined the Mount Pleasant Area Chamber Alliance in 2005 as the director of Main Street Mount Pleasant. She became a Nationally Certified Main Street Manager in 2008 and has since been a trusted resource for local businesses, providing training, technical assistance, and guidance to help downtown Mount Pleasant flourish.
