Marilyn Peel Brooks, 74, of Centerville, died Friday, October 18, 2024 at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield. She was born April 3, 1950 in Centerville to William Oliver and Mary Ann Erskine Krewson. She was a 1969 graduate of Centerville High School and attended two years of business college at Indian Hills Community College. She married Charles Peel; he preceded her in death. She then married Floyd Brooks.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed doing craft work. She took pride in keeping her lawn nice for which she received an award.
Survivors include her husband of Centerville; one grandson; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Doris Remaly of New London and Sandy Hamilton of Mt. Pleasant; her brother Dwayne Krewson of Missouri; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband and her daughter Kimberly Horn.
