Mary Lou Heater Terry, 75, of Burlington, died Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Savannah Heights, Mt. Pleasant. She was born November 16, 1948 in Mt. Pleasant to Max Cleo and Elsie Luella Glazebrook Heater. She married Edward L. Terry; he died June 13, 1986.
Mary was of the Christian faith and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. She was a very private person; however, she did enjoy engaging in conversations with the ladies at Autumn Heights.
Survivors include her daughter Marcia Trisler; two grandchildren, Leashia Durham and Zach Trisler, both of Danville; and her great-grandson Dillan Mason.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers Larry Heater and Richard Foland; and her sister Deloris Gwinn.
According to her wishes, her body has been cremated and inurnment will be held at Burge Cemetery at a later date. Elliott Chapel, New London is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be left at www.elliottfuneralchapel.com.
