Delivery time is approximately 10:30 -11:30 starting from the pickup point at First Presbyterian Church, Mt Pleasant And from the Community Center in Fairfield. Without additional volunteers from the community, They will need to reduce all route deliveries from 5 hot daily meals delivered Monday – Friday to 3 hot meals and 2 frozen meals, delivered M, W, F. Vietnam War Vets to be Honored
March 29 marks an important, commemorative day for Vietnam War-era veterans, 48 years to the day after the war ended. National Vietnam War Veterans Day came about as the result of the passage of the Vietnam War Veterans Recognition Act that was signed into law by President Trump in 2017. We commemorate those who fought in the Vietnam War on National Vietnam War Veterans Day, March 29. There’s no doubt that the Vietnam War was one of the most brutal. National Vietnam War Veterans Day was created to honor all the men and women who fought during its time. A special commemoration event will be held locally on March 29 at the Veterans Club in Mount Pleasant at 2 pm.
