Prep Track: Mount Pleasant’s Brumbaugh Rolls Again

Waverly — Mount Pleasant senior and Iowa State recruit Jadan Brumbaugh rolled to another win, while two Panther relay teams finished as runner ups at yesterday’s Wartburg Indoor Invite in Waverly, yesterday.

Brumbaugh cruised to a winning toss of 42 feet, 8 1/4 inches — nearly six inches further than Nashua-Plainfield’s Breanna Hackman, who was the runner up.

Gabe Feldmann, Jacob Richtman, Will Davidson and Isaiah Albright finished second the in the 4x400m relay.

That group went 3:44.75, finishing second behind Iowa City Liberty.

Similarly in the 4×800, Mount Pleasant finished behind the Lightning. Nathan McWilliams joined Feldmann, Richtman and Albright running 9:05.64.

One the girls side, Kenna Lamm was second in the 55m dash.

Lamm, who had an outstanding basketball season, ran 9.46 for second — finishing behind New Hampton speedster Carlee Rochford who won the event in 8.9 seconds
