SALEM, Iowa – Drivers in Salem should be prepared for temporary changes along Jackson Street/Salem Road (J-20) as Henry County crews begin road maintenance work east of Main Street.
According to the Henry County Engineer’s Office, the project is expected to take approximately two weeks, weather permitting. While the road will remain open throughout the construction period, motorists should anticipate lane closures and possible delays.
Drivers are urged to use caution in the work zone and to watch for workers and equipment along the roadway.
