On March 15th, 2021, at approximately 4:58AM, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a single motor vehicle crash, with injury, occurring in the 1600-grid of US Highway 78 near the Graham Avenue intersection “S” curves.
During investigation, it was determined that the vehicle was found to have missed navigating the curve and left the roadway from weather related factors. The driver was identified as Kayla Ling, 21, of Mediapolis. Injuries were determined to be minor and non-life threatening. The driver was transported by ambulance from the scene. Damages to the Ling vehicle were estimated at $5000.
