The Site and Policy Committees will meet tonight to discuss several important topics related to school facilities, policies, and operations.
The Site Committee will review the proposed Buildings and Grounds project list for FY26, along with a proposed Central Office lease agreement for the same fiscal year. Members will also consider a proposal for upgrading the Henry County fuel system and receive an update on the Facilities Master Plan.
The Policy Committee will hold the first reading of several policies, including School Board Policy Series 900 on Community Relations, Policy 208 on Ad Hoc Committees (which would replace Policy 203.06), and Policy 402.04 regarding gifts to employees. Additionally, the committee will discuss updates to the 2024-2025 school calendar, review a request to waive an athletic ineligibility period, and consider an overnight trip request for students attending the State Science Fair in Ames, Iowa, on March 27-28.
Decisions made during tonight’s meeting will highlighted during the next school board meeting, Monday march 10th.
