The Southeast Conference Meet is scheduled for tomorrow, May 8th, at Fairfield.
The Southeast Iowa Super Conference meet is set for tomorrow with WACO acting as the host.
High School Tennis
Fairfield and Mt. Pleasant will compete in the SEC Tournament tomorrow, May 8th, with the boys’ teams traveling to Fairfield, while the girls’ teams will make the trip to Burlington.
High School Golf
The New London, Burlington Notre Dame, Danville, and Fairfield girls’ teams participated in the Grayhound Invite yesterday and the Tigers finished in 3rd place with a team score of 411. The Nikes snuck past Fairfield for 7th place with the team carding a 450 compared to the Trojans 451, while Danville finished in 9th place with a score of 480.
New London will take on Wapello at home on Friday, May 9th.
The Fairfield girls’ team will travel to Van Buren County tomorrow, May 8th.
The Southeast Iowa Super Conference and Southeast Conference boys’ tournaments are scheduled for today.
The Southeast Iowa Super Conference girls’ tournament is scheduled for Monday, May 12th.
The Mt. Pleasant girls’ team will compete in their SEC tournament on May 14th.
High School Soccer
Wapello was swept by West Branch last night with the girls’ team falling 8-0.
The Columbus girls’ team has picked up two wins in-a-row after defeating Centerville last night 3-0. The boys’ team was unable to capitalize on two first half goals as the Wildcats tied Centerville 2-2. Columbus will compete against Wapello on Monday, May 12th, with the girls playing first at 5 pm with the boys’ game to follow.
The Fairfield boys’ team fell to Ottumwa last night 5-1. Binh Truong had the lone goal for the Trojans. The Fairfield girls’ team will host Keokuk tomorrow, May 8th, at 4:30 pm.
The Burlington Notre Dame boys’ team will square off against Danville tonight at home at 4:30 pm.
The Mediapolis boys’ team will tangle with Hillcrest Academy tomorrow at home at 5 pm, while the girls’ team will take on Wapello on Friday, May 9th, on the road.
The Central Lee boys’ team will play tomorrow against Albia on the road at 5:30 pm.
Mt. Pleasant will take on Burlington tomorrow with the boys’ team on the road and the girls’ team at home.
The WACO boys’ team will face off against Burlington Notre Dame on Friday at 5 pm at home.

The baseball team received the #1-seed and a first-round bye for the ICCAC Region 11 tournament. The Blackhawks will face off against the winner between Ellsworth and Des Moines Area Community College on Friday, May 9th, at 3:30 pm.
