Thomas Holmes Jr, age 60, of Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, August 29, 2021 at his home. He was born January 24, 1961 in Burlington to Thomas Sr and Jean Ann Baird Holmes.
He was of the Christian faith; enjoyed playing in pool league and fishing; and was a wild, brave and free spirit. For many years he was a Carnival operator which he very much enjoyed.
Survivors include his mother of Ft. Madison; sisters Bonnie Boecker of New London and Lori Barlow; brothers Pete, Jeff and Steve; his best friend and companion Cindy Wellington of Mt. Pleasant; Jerry Ettinger, his special friend of New London; a special nephew Bryan Boecker of Lowell; and other nieces and nephews. His father preceded him in death.
