Tuesday, November 11th is Veterans Day and a time for community members to pay tribute to those who served. This year, four names have been added to the Henry County Memorial stones. They are:
Aaron E. Coe – U.S. Army
Walter L. Edwards – U.S. Army
Thomas Lee Beasley – U.S. Navy
William O. Tolander – U.S. Army
This brings the total of names etched into the memorial at 1,540.
The families of these veterans will be acknowledged during the Henry County Veterans Day Observance which begins at 10:30am at the Vets Hall, 300 W. Monroe Street, in Mt. Pleasant.
All are invited to join in honoring the service and sacrifice of Henry County’s Veterans on this special day of remembrance – Tuesday, November 11th.
