Traffic in Mount Pleasant is already increasing as the first official day of the 2021 Old Threshers Reunion will soon be here. Thursday, September 2 may be the first official day but events like the Harvest Parade and the Don Carlson Memorial Horse Pull on Wednesday are eagerly anticipated especially after one year off. The OT campground is full, garage sales are everywhere. Crafters will soon fill Central Park and groups and organizations are finishing preparations to host thousands of visitors for the five days of the Reunion ending on Labor Day. KILJ Radio will officially begin coverage with hourly reports starting Wednesday morning. Wednesday afternoon join us at 3 pm, live from the Walnut Street staging area, for our Harvest Parade Preview. Also, beginning Wednesday, we will be checking in with Old Thresher’s Grant Davidson every morning at 6:30 am for a review of the day before and a preview of the day to come. Thursday thru Sunday,during our Breakfast Club time between 8 and 8:30 am, we will share interviews with the country music entertainers appearing on the KILJ stage each night. KILJ welcomes our visitors with the hope you enjoy the greatest steam show on Earth!
