The Mt. Pleasant Community High School Senior Awards Assembly will begin at 7:00pm after Baccalaureate Services which begin at 6:30pm in the MPCHS Gym.  The Awards Assembly is an opportunity to recognize graduating seniors on their accomplishments.

Henry County Health Center will host a Tornado Relief Fundraiser Dinner from 5-7 p.m. at the Mount Pleasant Moose Lodge. The meal will include your choice of a beef burger or Sloppy Joe sandwich, baked beans, potato salad, brownie and drink. Dine-in or take-out is available. The Moose Lodge is located at 108 North Saunders Street in Mount Pleasant. The meal is a free will offering with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the Iowa Hospital Association to help Iowa hospital employees who were recently impacted by tornados.
