If you’re driving in the area of the former Iowa Wesleyan Old Gym, you may see something peculiar. The City of Mount Pleasant authorized the mayor to sign a nuisance property and abandoned building remediation assistance loan program agreement for the Iowa Wesleyan Old Gymnasium in April. Subsequently, the demolition of the building has begun.
