The Children’s Discovery Center, 307 E. Monroe Street, in Mt. Pleasant is open from 12pm – 2pm today.  Right next to the Mt. Pleasant Public Library, there is something to discover for everyone!  The Children’s Discovery Center is also open on Friday this week, from 10am – 12pm.

Henry County Public Health’s “Ask a Nurse” monthly session will be held at the Crew Public Library in Salem, Iowa at 1:00pm.  This month’s health topic is Neurological Health.  The “Ask a Nurse” sessions are informal, a variety of topics are covered, there is blood pressure screening available and a registered nurse is on hand to answer questions.  The Library is located at 107 E. Cherry Street.

The Mt. Pleasant Community Theatre is holding auditions for the Spring Play, “The Play That Goes Wrong” with performances April 17-19th.  Auditions are this evening from 6pm – 7:30pm at the Belle Center, 107 W. Broad Street.
