The Mt. Pleasant Children’s Discovery Center is open from 12pm – 2pm at 307 E. Monroe Street next to the Mt. Pleasant Public Library!  There is something to discover for children of all ages.

The Player’s Workshop and the Capitol Theatre, 211 North 3rd St. in Burlington presents “The Mountaintop”, a reimagination of Martin Luther King Jr.’s encounter with a stranger following his iconic “I Have a Dream Speech” and the night of his assassination.  Performances are scheduled for 7pm tonight and Saturday night with a 2pm performance on Sunday, February 1st.  Information can be found at www.playersworkshoptheater.com
