The Wayland City Council will address several administrative and policy items at its meeting tonight at 7:30 at Wayland City Hall, 218 West Main Street in Wayland.
Council members are scheduled to begin with approval of routine business, including minutes from the January seventh meeting, bills for payment, and certificate of deposit renewals.
The meeting will include a citizen forum, giving residents the opportunity to address the mayor and council on items not listed on the agenda. Public comments are welcome, though no formal action will be taken during that portion of the meeting.
Under unfinished business, the council will consider a resolution approving an agreement with the Wayland Area Childcare Organization.
New business items include adoption of a revised 2026 operations and maintenance plan, which includes updated emergency procedures. Council members will discuss modifying city staff office hours to Monday-Friday 7:30-11:30 a.m. and 12-4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Closed Wednesday after 11:30 a.m. They will also consider approval of a cash payment policy.
