Community Blood Drive- ImpactLife will host a community blood drive on 08/04/26 from 03:45 pm – 07:00 pm at Hope Lutheran Church, Germanville. Donating blood is a simple way to help ensure local hospitals have the lifesaving blood products they need for patients facing surgery, cancer treatments, traumatic injuries, and other medical emergencies. Eligible donors are encouraged to schedule an appointment or walk in if space allows. Every donation can help save lives throughout the region. The Spring Run Church located at 24484 90th St. (corner of County Rd. X17 and 90th St.) in Columbus Junction is inviting everyone to their annual Ice Cream Supper Social from 5-7pm on Tuesday, August 4th. On the menu–hot chicken sandwiches, beef burgers, potato salad, pies, cakes, cookies, and of course, homemade ice cream.
