Veterans and job seekers are invited to the National Hire a Veteran Day Hiring Event today from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Iowa National Guard Armory, 1000 South Walnut Street in Mount Pleasant. 1 – 2 p.m.is reserved exclusively for veterans and active service members. 2- 3 p.m., spouses, families, and the general public are welcome to explore career opportunities with participating employers.
