The Washington County Fair has officially crowned its 2026 Fair Royalty.
Adelyn Huston was named the 2026 Washington County Fair Queen, Averi Janecek was crowned Princess, and Sophia Puttmann received the Miss Congeniality honor during this year’s coronation.
The three young women will serve as ambassadors for the fair throughout the week, attending events, supporting 4-H and FFA exhibitors, and helping celebrate this year’s fair theme, “Star, Stripes & Summer Nights.”
Congratulate the new royalty as they make appearances across the fairgrounds during the week.
Following the Washington County Fair, Queen Adelyn Huston will go on to represent the county in the Iowa State Fair Queen competition, where she’ll compete alongside queens from across the state.
