Sharon Jean Tozer, 86, of Mount Pleasant, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at her home.
Sharon was born on November 26, 1939, the daughter of Everett R. and Alice M. (Shannon) Jarvis. Sharon was united in marriage to Donald W. Tozer on February 15, 1959, in Mount Pleasant. He preceded her in death on April 7, 1995.
She took pride in her yard and flower gardens. She was always there when family or friends were in need of help of any kind. Sharon had a love of horses and was a member of the Henry County Saddle Club for a number of years. She enjoyed fishing, trips to the casino and playing bingo.
Those thankful for sharing in her life include her children, Stephen S. (Dee) Tozer of Lake of the Ozarks and Jeanne A. Tozer of Mount Pleasant, her grandson, David (Beth) Tozer and her great grandchildren, Robby, Zoe and Lacey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald and a daughter, Stephanie Ann Tozer.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Forest Home Cemetery, with words of comfort by Jeff Murphy. A memorial has been established in her memory.
