Washington County 4-H is excited to invite the community to the interactive booth, known as 4-H Adventures, which will be hosted in 4-H Hall at the Washington County Fair. Open from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, this hands-on, fun, educational, and free station is open to all young and old friends at the fair!
On Tuesday, 4-H Adventures will feature an exhibit called Coder’s Cove with simple robots like Hex Bugs and Bee Bots to practice and play with coding. On Wednesday and Thursday, the 4-H First Tech Challenge team and WACO Robotics club will lead Ramp Up With Robotics.
Each day following 4-H Adventures in 4-H Hall, Ms. Diane from the Washington County Extension Ag in the Classroom program will lead an Ag Hour lesson. Tuesday will feature pigs, Wednesday will feature Beef Cattle, and Thursday will feature Dairy Cattle. Participants can expect hands-on and up close learning each day at Ag Hour, which will include trips to the livestock barns!
Come back each day for something new in 4-H Hall. There’s something for everyone in 4-H!
