Andrea was a 1969 graduate of Limestone High School. She devoted forty years to caring for children through her home daycare. A faithful member of Holy Family Parish in Fort Madison, Andrea found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved tending to her flowers and garden, taking special pride in growing watermelons each summer. She also remained deeply proud of her French heritage, delighting in teaching her grandchildren French slang and sharing that cherished part of her family’s history. Above all else, her greatest happiness came from her three beloved grandboys “The Three B’s”, who were the pride and joy of her life. Andrea’s legacy lives on in the many children she helped raise, the love she shared with her family and the lasting impact she made on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Her body has been entrusted to the crematory of Schmitz Funeral Home for cremation.
