College Football: Former UNI QB McElvain Picks Up First Offer

KILJ — Former UNI quarterback Will McElvain will have no problem of future suitors.

One day after announcing his intentions to transfer from Northern Iowa, McElvain picked up his first offer last night from Western Carolina.

McElvain was replaced as the starter of Mark Farley’s bunch by Michigan State transfer Theo Day.

A Des Moines Lincoln alum, McElvain was coached by now Fort Madison athletic director Ben Fry is in his prep days.
