Ames — In shocking news out of Ames, Iowa State star safety Isheem Young has announced his plans to transfer from the program.
Young, the 2020 Defensive Freshman of the Year in the Big 12, had started 19 straight games for Matt Campbell’s defense.
He joins a list of four other Cyclones to announce their intentions to transfer just this week, brining the total to 11 in the last two weeks.
Penn State is expected to make a push for Young, who hails from suburban Philadelphia.
