KILJ — Two Iowa football players have been placed on the Associated Press Midseason All-American team.
Center Tyler Linderbaum and cornerback Matt Hankins were both selected.
Hankins was a preseason second-team All-Big 10 choice and has record 17 tackles and three interceptions this season.
Linderbaum was a preseason first-team All-America selection by several outlets.
He is widely panned as a shoo-in top-20 pick in next April’s NFL Draft.
