College Volleyball: Wesleyan Swept in Quarters

St. Louis — The Iowa Wesleyan volleyball team was swept in the quarterfinals of the SLIAC Conference Tournament, losing 3-0 to top-seeded Westminster.

The Blue Jays took the matchup 25-16, 25-23, 25-20.

Malie DeMate paced the Tigers offensively with 12 kills.

Jenna Murphy led the back row with 15 digs. Lindsay Fernandes had 11 assists for Wesleyan.

The loss dropped Wesleyan to 1-14.

They’ll close out the season in the 7th place match tomorrow, against an opponent to be determined.
