Ames — No. 13 Iowa State (4-1, 0-0 Big 12) didn’t drop a match as it rolled past Northwest Kansas Technical College (0-5, 0-0 KJCCC) Thursday evening inside Hilton Coliseum, 56-0.
Seven Cyclones earned a fall in the contest, tying a school record that was set in 1919.
It was also the second-most points the program has ever scored in a dual, just behind the 57-points the club scored against New Mexico in 1998.
The Cyclones return to action in Hilton Coliseum Wednesday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m. against CSU-Bakersfield.
