There will be an open house at the future site of All God’s Creatures, an animal shelter coming to Henry County.  During the open house from 2-4 pm there will be a building tour, information and updates, and volunteer sign ups. Bring your own pet if you wish.  The building is located at 2205 E. Washington Street in Mount Pleasant.

The annual Calvary Baptist Christmas Cantata will be performed at 6:30 pm. A dessert reception will be held following each performance.  This is a free event.  The church is located on Mapleleaf Drive in Mount Pleasant.

Spend an evening immersed in the sights and sounds of Christmas with Iowa Wesleyan University. This signature holiday event will feature performances from The Mount Pleasant Chorale, The IW Choir, Primae Voces, SEISO Chamber Orchestra, and more. Admission is free and open to the public. All free-will donations support students in the IW Music Program. Doors open at 6:15pm, service-concert begins at 7:00pm.

Community Brunch at the Twin Lakes Golf Club from 9:30-1:00. All are welcome, free will donation.
