Salem, Iowa is celebrating 143 years of small-town pride with Salem Old Settlers this weekend! Today, tomorrow, and Sunday you will find food, fun, and community!  The events kick off at 5pm with car cruise night, bingo, a ham & bean supper, and RC car races at 6:30pm. The Swedesburg Lutheran Church annual garage sale is today from 8am-5pm and on Saturday from 8am-1pm.  Most items are fifty cents and include toys, clothes, household items, books, plants, artwork, and furniture.  The $2 a bag sale is on Saturday from 11am – 1pm.
