Mount Pleasant Christian School high school students are holding a pancake breakfast fundraiser  from 8 am to 10 am at the school on East Washington Street.  The funds will help with the cost of the students’ banquet.

Author Denise McCormick will be back at the Mount Pleasant  Library on Saturday March 5 at 11 AM to celebrate the recent release of her book, Never Mind the Monkey Mind. She will read from her book, sign books, and will hold a writer’s workshop for attendees of the program.

There is a fund raiser event for Konnor Meth at the Moose Lodge on Saunders Avenue in Mount Pleasant beginning at 3 pm.  Konor has been diagnosed with brain cancer. He and his wife have 3 kids and twins on the way.  A pork meal with two sides will be served for a free will donation.  The live auction starts at 6 pm and there will be music by Mike Ripple.

The Henderson County Olde Tymers are hosting a soup supper at the St. Patrick’s Community Center in Raritan, Illinois from 4 to 7 pm for a free will donation.

The Winfield Mt.Union Senior Class presents Mr. WMU 2022 at 7 pm at the school. Admission is $5.00.  The contestants will also be collecting donations as part of the competition so bring extra cash!

Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church is hosting a Beach Party Trivia Night at the Mount Pleasant Veterans Hall.  Food will be served starting at 5:30 pm and trivia starts at 7 pm.

Ft Madison FFA Labor Auction and regular auction starting at 7 pm. A pork loin dinner will be served starting at 6 pm for a free will donation. This event will be held at the Elks Lodge at 719 Avenue H in Ft. Madison.
