Southeastern Community College Foundation is hosting “Great Tastes” beginning at 6 pm at the PZAZZ! Event Center.  Enjoy great food, live music, wine, beer and spirits.  There will also be both a live auction and a silent auction.  Funds raised support scholarships for SCC students.

Main Street Mount Pleasant presents Jingle, Jingle, Mix and Mingle this evening from 5 to 7 pm.  It is the kickoff to the holiday shopping season with stores open for holiday open houses with a wine walk and treats.  There will be special and door prizes.

Friends of Henry County Health Center’s Drive-thru Fall Soup Supper is today from 4:30 to 7:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant. Drive up to the main door to place your order, drive around to the west door to pick it up. The evening’s menu offers chili, chicken noodle soup, or baked potato bar, relish, crackers and dessert. The price is $9 for a choice of two entrees, $7 for one entrée, and a children’s portion for ages 5 and under is $2.  The event is sponsored by Friends of HCHC, and proceeds from the Soup Supper benefit the Friends of HCHC Healthcare Scholarship Fund.
