The Mount Pleasant Vets Hall (VFW) at 300 W. Monroe St. Monthly Veterans Breakfast is from 8:30am – 9:30am. The breakfast is open veterans plus one.

The Salem Farmers Market is open from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the first and third Friday of each month through September at Salem City Park. Shop fresh produce, homemade goods, and more from local vendors while supporting local businesses. Families can also enjoy a bounce house on every first Friday of the month.
