The Mount Pleasant City compost site is open for the season Saturdays from 8 am to 5 pm and Wednesdays from 1 to 6 pm.  The site is located southwest of Saunders Park at the intersection of Yocum Lane and Hoaglin Drive.

Henry County Public Health is holding an immunization clinic from 1 to 4 pm at the Public Health office, 106 N. Jackson Street, Suite 103 in Mount Pleasant.

The Mount Pleasant Farmers Market is open from 4 to 6 pm in the Wright Pavilion in McMillan Park.

The Houghton Ball Association Wednesday night Co-Ed league starts tonight. Several local businesses and groups have committed to provide food to the teams and community for this year.  Support the Houghton Ball Association!! Stop by and grab a meal and a cold beverage between 5 and 8 pm  and watch some softball!!
