The Mt. Pleasant Public Library Children’s Discovery Center is open from 12pm – 2pm, 307 E. Monroe Street,  where there is something for children of all ages to discover!  The Public Library opens at 9am and the Children’s Department has lots of books and fun activities!  The Discover Center will also be open on Friday from 10am – noon.

Mount Pleasant Community Theatre is hosting a children’s theatre workshop titled School for Spies June 22nd through June 26th. The workshop will run daily from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with a final performance by participants on Friday, June 26th at 6:30 p.m. The program is open to ages 7 through 18, with a cost of $50 per child.
